Cabernet Peppercorn Demi Glace Sauce
Using this quick and easy Red Wine Sauce by More Than Gourmet can help you prepare a tasty addition to meat dishes in 10 minutes or less. We suggest serving it over veal, beef, lamb, pork or chicken whether grilled, pan seared or roasted.
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup shallots, chopped
3 tbs black pepper corns, crushed
2 tsp olive oil
1/2 cup red wine
11 oz Red Wine Sauce by More Than Gourmet
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 Add olive oil to a saucepan over medium heat. Saute mushrooms and shallots until just tender.
2 Deglaze the pan by adding the red wine and lightly scrapping the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to incorporate the bits and pieces with the sauteed mushrooms and shallots. Reduce the ingredients by two-thirds.
3 Whisk in the cream, stir and reduce by half.
4 Add the More Than Gourmet Red Wine Sauce; simmer for about one minute and remove form the heat.
5 Serve immediately over cooked veal, beef, lamb, chicken or pork.
